After staying home to care for my children for seven years, I decided to go back to work part time.  I was practically paralyzed by the fear of leaving my two children and starting a new career.  Christina's coaching helped me realize that after a brief training period, I can work according to my own schedule and on my own terms.  Her program helped me clarify my priorities and redefine my definition of career.  What a relief to know that I can balance family and work in a way that doesn't compromise my values.  Thanks Christina!

About Christina Dyer
Christina Dyer

Christina Dyer has led a rich and varied life traveling independently to over 25 countries around the world, exploring and photographing various cultures from the Masai tribes of Kenya to the people of Kathmandu, Nepal. Christina brings her education, diverse career experiences and her passion for life's adventures to her work, inspiring others to live a creative, full and fantastic life.

Her professional experiences have ranged from for-profit companies, such as the corporate offices of the Hyatt Corporation, to the largest government child protection agency in the country, the Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services. Her exemplary social work earned her the respect of colleagues and supervisors. She was chosen to represent the social workers in Los Angeles County on CBS news magazine's television series, "48 Hours with Dan Rather”, amplifying the energy, integrity and professionalism necessary to the field.

She opened and ran a successful photography business in 1998, and in 2006 she was asked by Global Family Rescue, an international relief organization working in Rwanda, to serve as their head photographer.

Due to this experience, an internal shift occurred around her life's direction, and in 2007, having been moved by the indelible spirit of the people she met in central Africa, Christina led the way to founding her own nonprofit to help those afflicted by disease, poverty and starvation in Tanzania Africa. During the same time, she also served as the Executive Director for the Hotel Rwanda Rusesabagina Foundation, a nonprofit founded by Paul Rusesabagina--the man responsible for sheltering and saving the lives of 1268 people in the Mille Colline Hotel during the Rwandan genocide of 1994.

Developing leadership skills in others around charitable works have earned her attention in local newspapers and interviews on Chicago Public Radio and the Canadian radio show, The Taylor Report. She continues to live her personal mission statement of helping others find their own best way, through her motivational keynotes, seminars, coaching and consulting, as well as giving of herself through philanthropic endeavors.

Christina Dyer holds a Masters Degree in Counseling from California State University. She is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the State of Illinois and is a past member of the American Counseling Association. She resides in the Chicago area with her husband and three growing boys. Having fallen in love with France when traveling, she and her young boys are trying to learn French with the aspirations to one day live between America and the South of France.
